Job description
Hydranautics, headquartered in Oceanside, California, has a gap for an Electrical Engineer. Beneath common supervision, the Electrical Engineer will handle initiatives involving plant electrical techniques, manufacturing gear, machine controls and automatic gear techniques. She or he will design specs, program, implement, and consider gear management techniques in addition to troubleshoot and restore manufacturing gear and electrical techniques.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Helps program route for computerized controls related to semi-automated and automatic manufacturing gear techniques.

Helps set up and upkeep of system PLC’s, VFD’s and digital management techniques.

Interfaces with consultants and engineers on system design and integration.

Designs, procures and installs facility electrical and manufacturing gear.

Conducts root-cause evaluation along with different engineers throughout a purposeful organizational matrix.

Trains upkeep technicians on digital management trouble-shooting gear strategies.

Fashions in-house electrical schematics and P&ID drawings and course of instrumentation engineering.

Sketches electrical and digital techniques management circuitry and instrumentation blueprints.

Helps division compliance with documentation necessities, security necessities and manufacturing procedures.

Schedules and facilitates electrical initiatives for on-side contractors.

Different duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

1. Bachelor of Science diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering;

2. four years of directly-related expertise; or equal mixture of training and expertise.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and/or ABILITIES:

Working data of engineering ideas, theories and ideas via a variety of advanced and superior problem-solving requiring novel and new modern approaches; detailed data energy techniques.

Capacity to make use of software program functions equivalent to Microsoft Workplace Suite (Excel, Phrase, Energy Level) Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and/or Computerized Automated Design (CAD)/Electrical CAD software program, Elements & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) software program and Inventor at an Intermediate to superior degree.

Working data and electronics management techniques to incorporate troubleshooting and root trigger evaluation.

Working data of mechanical, electrical, digital integration techniques design because it pertains to manufacturing gear equivalent to Fanuc or Robotics, and instrumentation engineering equivalent to air and liquid distribution gear and techniques controls, a plus.

Understanding of producing processes or procedures (e.g. uncooked materials, work-in-process and completed items).
